Work–life balance is a concept which includes proper prioritising between “work” and “lifestyle”.  One of the definitions we researched explained that your Work/Life Balance is a comfortable state of equilibrium which is achieved as a balance between each person’s primary priorities of their position of employment and their own private life and lifestyle.  But really there is no right and there is no wrong and the whole idea about the Wheel of Work/Life Balance is to help you find a balance between all the elements of your life – work or not work.

Recommended reading and suggestions discussed in the show:

Take care of yourself:
When you don’t sleep, eat crap, don’t exercise,
and are living off adrenaline for too long, your performance suffers.
Your decisions suffer. Your company suffers.

Love those close to you:
Failure of your company is not failure in life.
Failure in your relationship is.

To get balance, we should first consider ‘purpose’.
